Privacy Policy
Hayloft stores account and roleplay data so characters, chats, memory, and continuity can work across sessions.
What We Collect
We may collect account email, profile information, created characters, uploaded avatars, chats and messages, memory/context data, beta requests, reports, basic analytics events, and technical logs needed to operate the service.
Why We Store Chats
Chats and related context are stored for persistence, memory, continuity, safety checks, debugging, abuse prevention, and product improvement. Memory features may create summaries, scene state, pinned memories, and lore/context notes.
Third-Party AI Processing
Hayloft uses third-party AI providers through OpenRouter and/or model providers. User messages, character cards, recent chat history, memory context, lore fixes, and other prompt context may be sent to those providers to generate AI responses.
Do not enter private information you would not want processed by AI providers.
Database and Storage
Hayloft uses Supabase for authentication, database records, and storage such as profile and character avatar uploads.
Hayloft may use Supabase and/or Resend for account emails, beta request notifications, access messages, support, and important service updates.
Analytics
We may store internal product analytics such as event names, model names, latency, success or failure status, message length, and feature usage. We do not intentionally store full chat message content inside analytics events.
Data Deletion
You can request deletion from your profile page or by emailing support@hayloftai.com. During beta, deletion may be handled as a soft deletion or admin request while we improve account tooling.
No Sale of Personal Data
Hayloft does not sell personal data.
